Worksoft Strengthens Executive Team with New Appointments

Bill Norberg joined Worksoft as Executive Vice President of Global Sales. Wayne Snell joined as Vice President of Marketing.

Bill Norberg was previously senior vice president, worldwide sales and field operations at Courion, where he ran field sales, channel sales and international operations. He has also served as vice president of worldwide sales at NSI Software, vice president of sales at StorageNetworks, and held senior sales positions at Parametric Technology Corporation and Prime Computer. Norberg holds a B.S. in Accounting from Boston College.

Wayne Snell Background

Wayne Snell previously served as the senior director of marketing at Lombardi Software, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software acquired by IBM. IBM Teams with Worksoft for Automated Testing of SAP® Solutions

ORLANDO, FL (June 6, 2011) – Worksoft®, an innovative provider of automated business process validation and testing solutions, today announced at the IBM INNOVATE 2011 Conference that it has entered into a remarketing agreement with IBM (NYSE: IBM) which allows IBM to resell Worksoft Certify®, the company’s flagship automated functional test solution. As part of the agreement, IBM will make Certify available to its customers through its Passport Advantage program system, as well as Certify Impact™ and Certify Data™. The Worksoft products will be made available as an integration to the IBM Rational® Quality Management (QM) suite for testing of environments running SAP® solutions.

Certify Data automatically identifies and extracts representative SAP data so that it can be directly embedded into Worksoft Certify during test case construction. Prior to joining Worksoft, Chamberlain was the CFO of Broadpoint where he played an integral role in the company’s merger with Cellular One.

This certification, called BC-eCATT, provides customers with the confidence and assurance that Worksoft Certify has met SAP’s stringent test automation requirements for integration, interoperability and data management within SAP Solution Manager-based environments that leverage application testing.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Worksoft Certify version 8 integrates with SAP NetWeaver AS via the integration scenario test tool integration into eCATT via the SAP GUI for Windows (BC-eCATT) 6.2. Through this new test automation framework, the BC-eCATT interface is the enabler for ISV test tools, such as Worksoft Certify v8, allowing integration with SAP Solution Manager.

Worksoft® Launches New Performance Testing Product in Support of SAP® Applications

DALLAS, TX - June 11, 2009 - Worksoft®, an innovative provider of test and lifecycle automation solutions for use with SAP® applications, today announced the general availability of Certify Performance Test™. Worksoft Certify Performance Test introduces an intuitive yet powerful approach that greatly reduces the amount of time and resources required to diagnose and fix performance related issues within SAP applications.

Worksoft Certify Performance Test leverages existing SAP business processes, transactions and data to simulate hundreds or even thousands of business application users, allowing users to accurately measure the impact on system performance and functionality using 75 percent less time and resources than traditional solutions.

"Our project was looking for a way to test the production environment before deploying SAP solutions to 10,000 employees. We needed a solution that was cost-effective and would minimally impact our functional teams," said Howard Stapleton, City Technical Lead, City of San Diego OneSD Project. Reusable Tests with No Coding: Certify Performance Test doesn’t require custom coding or custom scripts to be developed and maintained. Comparison tests may be run to validate tuning activities while data dependencies are automatically managed between SAP transactions. Relevant Information and Reports: Worksoft Certify Performance Test leverages the performance data that is automatically captured by SAP. There is no need to install yet another monitoring solution or any other dependencies. Reported information includes infrastructure metrics, along with key internal SAP data points such as response time, dialogs, enqueues, etc.
Accelerated Time to Value: Certify Performance Test was designed to deliver results with little upfront configuration or training. Worksoft Certify® Earns Ready for IBM Rational Software Validation

DALLAS, TX - June 2, 2009 - Worksoft®, an innovative provider of test and lifecycle automation solutions for use with SAP® applications, today announced that Worksoft Certify® has been validated as Ready for IBM Rational Software. This validation provides IBM Rational customers with confidence that Worksoft Certify has met IBM Rational’s requirements for safety, interoperability, and user experience, and integrates well with IBM Rational Quality Manager, IBM Rational’s quality management solution based on the Jazz platform. Additionally, Worksoft Certify achieved the Ready for IBM Rational Software Best Practices Indicator which signifies that Worksoft met guidelines beyond the mandatory requirements.

Worksoft® Announces Support for SAP® Business Suite 7

DALLAS, TX - May 14, 2009 - Worksoft, an innovative provider of test and lifecycle automation solutions for use with SAP® applications, today announced support for SAP Business Suite 7 software with its flagship product, Worksoft Certify®. The current version of Worksoft Certify, version 8, is currently available worldwide and supports this new release of SAP Business Suite.
