Worksoft Strengthens Executive Team with New Appointments

Bill Norberg joined Worksoft as Executive Vice President of Global Sales. Wayne Snell joined as Vice President of Marketing.

IBM Teams with Worksoft for Automated Testing of SAP® Solutions

ORLANDO, FL (June 6, 2011) – Worksoft®, an innovative provider of automated business process validation and testing solutions, today announced at the IBM INNOVATE 2011 Conference that it has entered into a remarketing agreement with IBM (NYSE: IBM) which allows IBM to resell Worksoft Certify®, the company’s flagship automated functional test solution. As part of the agreement, IBM will make Certify available to its customers through its Passport Advantage program system, as well as Certify Impact™ and Certify Data™. The Worksoft products will be made available as an integration to the IBM Rational® Quality Management (QM) suite for testing of environments running SAP® solutions.

Certify Data automatically identifies and extracts representative SAP data so that it can be directly embedded into Worksoft Certify during test case construction. Similarly, Certify Impact automatically identifies proposed changes to the SAP application, either directly from the transport or through the business process change analyzer in the SAP Solution Manager application management solution, and recommends and executes business process tests based upon them. Prior to joining Worksoft, Chamberlain was the CFO of Broadpoint where he played an integral role in the company’s merger with Cellular One.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Worksoft Certify version 8 integrates with SAP NetWeaver AS via the integration scenario test tool integration into eCATT via the SAP GUI for Windows (BC-eCATT) 6.2. Through this new test automation framework, the BC-eCATT interface is the enabler for ISV test tools, such as Worksoft Certify v8, allowing integration with SAP Solution Manager.

Test Management: Worksoft Certify automated test processes can be stored, modified, viewed and executed from within the test workbench of SAP Solution Manager. Certify test results are then stored in the SAP Solution Manager database where they can be viewed directly through the SAP Solution Manager interface.
Integrated Data Management: Worksoft Certify fully supports test data containers in SAP Solution Manager in order to share and manage data that is passed back and forth from Certify to SAP Solution Manager.

Worksoft Certify Performance Test introduces an intuitive yet powerful approach that greatly reduces the amount of time and resources required to diagnose and fix performance related issues within SAP applications.

Worksoft Certify Performance Test leverages existing SAP business processes, transactions and data to simulate hundreds or even thousands of business application users, allowing users to accurately measure the impact on system performance and functionality using 75 percent less time and resources than traditional solutions.

Worksoft® Announces Support for SAP® Business Suite 7

The current version of Worksoft Certify, version 8, is currently available worldwide and supports this new release of SAP Business Suite.
