Citrix is a leader in mobile workspaces and with over 100 million global users know the challenges of validating critical business processes. The company relies on a range of applications like SAP-ERP, MDM, and BI, cloud apps including Salesforce.com and Marketo, along with their own custom applications. These applications perform a range of business functions ranging from marketing and sales to support, customer service, and HR. With all of these enterprise systems in place, Citrix needed automated business process validation to accelerate IT projects, improve business process quality, and reduce costs.
Citrix’s QA team is led by Senior QA Manager, Moazzam Naim. Moazzam will be hosting a case study session at SAP’s TechEd && d-code 2014 Conference in Las Vegas 2014 with Jim Dugger, Worksoft’s Director of Product Management. TechEd Las Vegas is SAP’s premier technology education event, and will have range of activities and educational events for SAP users of all levels. Their section, titled “How Citrix Manages Change in a Multi-App, Multi-device, Hybrid Cloud World” will be a learning session that explores not only how Citrix is using Worksoft Certify, but also describe the important business benefits and why Citrix chooses to work with Worksoft, specifically.
Moazzam Naim will focus on the current applications and devices used at Citrix, and the company’s need for quality assurance across enterprise systems in light of today’s rapid pace of IT change. Jim Dugger will expand on the Citrix story explaining how the challenges faced by Citrix are common for businesses in every industry. In the changing landscape of ERP, multi-app, multi-device, and hybrid could systems are no longer exceptions, but the new standard. With data from IDC, Jim will present the ROI of automated business process validation. Beyond the ROI presented in the IDC study, he will also show the value in reduced project timelines and reduced technology risks.
