DALLAS, TX (Aug 12, 2008) – Worksoft, Inc., a leading provider of solutions that accelerate deployments of SAP® applications, today announced the availability of Worksoft CertifyTM version 8.2.1, which now provides support for SAP® GUI for HTML. Worksoft Certify’s database-centric model for storing and executing test assets allows pre-defined tests for key SAP applications to be quickly loaded and customized based on each customer’s unique SAP configuration. Release 8.2.1 furthers this advancement by also allowing the same pre-defined tests to be executed against either SAP user interface. New enhancements include:
- Support for SAP GUI for HTML: Users can create a single set of automated tests that can interact with either the SAP GUI for Windows® or the SAP GUI for HTML, using the same metadata model.
- Support for locale-specific date and number formats: Users can interact with number and date formats consistent with their geographic locale, enabling the user to create processes that execute consistently against the AUT, regardless of the user’s locale.
- Enhanced filtering and selection capabilities: Users can quickly find information needed by simply typing in all or parts of search strings. This ‘type ahead’ capability can be used in conjunction with Worksoft Certify’s existing filtering capability.
“This new release represents our continuing investment in leading the market and meeting the needs of our customers” said Bruce Johnson, CEO and president of Worksoft. “We are constantly improving our capabilities for reducing customer cost of ownership while improving time to market.”
