DALLAS, TX (May 19, 2008) - Worksoft, Inc., a leading provider of testing solutions to automate, accelerate and optimize deployments of SAP® applications, today announced the appointment of Shoeb Javed as vice president of engineering.

Javed is an experienced executive with more than 17 years of experience leading the development of cutting-edge network infrastructure, enterprise software, and service management solutions. In his new role, he is spearheading the development of Worksoft's testing solutions software and is responsible for managing Worksoft's development team, as well as overseeing product and customer support.

Prior to Worksoft, Javed was CTO of Variview Technology, where he was responsible for product development, operations, and business development. He successfully restructured the company's webcasting, enterprise content management, and digital media solutions to increase the customer base, (including Fortune 500 companies), as well as revenues per customer. He also held leadership roles at companies that include, Ericsson, M68 technologies, Vesta Broadband Services, and Intelect Network Technologies.
