Enterprise Business Process Assurance (EBPA) has been around for as long as companies have implemented systems and there are testing and assurance professionals who have practiced in this area for many years. But EBPA practices are not well understood or documented in either business or the wider IT community. There are few scholarly articles on the topic, even though the latter stages of every large scale project is dominated by this activity.
This paper examines what Enterprise Business Process Assurance (EBPA) is, associated risks, and how testing can be structured to address those risks effectively.
